The Quincy District Court serves the towns of Quincy, Milton, Braintree, Randolph, Hollbrook, Cohasset, and Weymouth. The Quincy District Court is one of five district courts in Norfolk County. Criminal and Civil cases are heard in the Quincy District Court. Crimes are prosecuted by the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office in the Quincy District Court.

Quincy District Court Information

The Quincy District Court is the busiest district court in Norfolk County. Over nine thousand criminal cases are heard in the court each year. On average there are three to four judges that sit in the Quincy each day. Because of the volume of cases the court tends to move very fast. Jury trials are held in the Quincy District court on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There are no jurors in Quincy court on Fridays.


Quincy District Court Domestic Violence Lawyer

Domestic violence are treated very seriously and at times harshly in the Quincy District Court. The Quincy Court was the first to have a Domestic violence session. The court has a special court session on Friday devoted to a Domestic Violence cases. All domestic violence pre-trial conferences are held on Fridays.
