Hingham District Court

The Hingham District Court is a division of the Massachusetts Trial Court. Hingham District Court hears both civil and criminal cases. Felony and misdemeanor criminal cases are heard in the Hingham District Court.  Jury trials are conducted at the Hingham District Court. Two judges usually sit in the Hingham District Court. One judge handles arraignments, pretrial hearings, restraining orders and probation violations. The other judge normally hears trials. The Juvenile Court also sits in the Higham District Court.
