After dozens of people have been hospitalized after taking the party drug Molly Middletown CT police arrested four Wesleyan students on various drug charges. In addition to being arrested the four have also been suspended from the University.
Police were investigating the drug use after ten students who attended a concert became sick requiring medical attention. Molly, a designer drug is also called MDMA and is a refined Ectasy. Police and health officials for different agencies
Police arrested Eric Lonergan, from Rio de Janeiro and Andrew Olson, from California along with Zachary Kramer, Maryland; and Rama Agha Al Kakib, Maryland. All four were in custody and due in court on March 3. All were arrested on drug charges including of possessing a controlled substance and illegally obtaining or supplying drugs, possessing and selling a hallucinogen, possessing drug paraphernalia, a regulated substance and a small amount of marijuana.
