The Massachusetts State Police has announced that it will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint otherwise known as a roadblock on Friday December 5, 2008 in the county of Norfolk. The purpose of a roadblock is to stop all the drivers and arrest those who have drank too much. Roadblocks are controversial and extremely impartial. If you are stopped in a roadblock it is your right not to perform any tests. This is not limited to the breath test. You may refuse to perform all field tests.
