Stephanie Rose Bongiovi daughter of famous NJ singer Jon Bon Jovi was arrested early this morning on drug possession charges. Mr. Bongiovi was arrest at by the Town of Kirkland Police Department for possession of heroin.
According to TMV, Ms. Bongoiovi, 19, a student at Hamilton College overdosed on heroin. Police responded to her dorm room after allegedly overdosed on heroin and was unresponsive. When police arrived she was responsive.
Police found a small amount of heroin, marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia. She was charged with the misdemeanor criminal counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Ms. Bongiovo was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
As a student Ms. Bongiovi is facing both criminal penalties and penalties from the college Colleges tend to be very tough on college students that break the law. Penalties can include suspension, strict sanctions and even expulsion.
Hopefully, Ms. Bongiovi will get the help she needs and will use this as a wakeup call. We all wish her well.
