Conner Bird, son of Larry Bird, has been arrested at Indiana University for domestic violence. Bird, 21, is accused of attempting to hit his girlfriend with his car.
Bird was arrested Sunday by the campus police at Indiana University. According to the reports, Bird got into a fight with his girlfriend earlier where he is accused of throwing his phone at her. Apparently the couple stopped fighting and later left in Bird’s car. It was there they began fighting again. The victim got out of the car and then Bird allegedly chased her in the car trying to run her over. The victim got help from another person in the parking lot and police arrived a short time later.
In addition to the charges of domestic violence Bird was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Whether in Indiana or in Boston, college students face severe consequence when they are arrested.
