Quincy Police arrested 14 people today for outstanding warrants. In an effort named Operation Summer Bummer the Quincy Police, Norfolk and Plymouth County Sheriff’s office and the MBTA police arrested 14 people. Polce were also seeking as many as 15 more. All of the people arrested will be arraigned in the Quincy District Court.
A warrant issues when somebody misses court. If the person defaults at court the judge issues a warrant, While the the warrant is active the person’s driver’s license is suspended, any benefits may cease, and the person is subject to arrest. A person can have the warrant removed by going to the court.
