Massachusetts Speeding Ticket Recent Victories


Some of the recent victories from Massachusetts Speeding Ticket Attorney Patrick Donovan.

Concord District Court 

Client a junior operator was stopped by a Massachusetts State Trooper going 80 in 55. Client faced an automatic license suspension,  long wait to reinstate and an additional $500 fine. Attorney Donovan argued on his behalf and he was found NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Somerville District Court

Client was stopped by a Somerville Police Officer for going over 45 m.p.h. in a 30 m.p.h zone. The officer used radar to confirm the speed. The Client was given a ticket for $150. Client appealed with Attorney Donovan and was found not responsible in the Clerk Magistrates session. Client saved the money for the ticket and will not see any insurance increases.

Wrentham District Court

Client was given a ticket for going 49 m.p.h. in a 30 m.p.h. zone and for not wearing her seatbelt. The Franklin police officer estimate and used radar to confirm the speed. Client, who a great driver’s history (no previous speeding tickets) was found not responsible by the Clerk Magistrate.

Framingham District Court

Client was given a Massachusetts speeding ticket for going 86 in a 65 on the Mass Pike. The client appealed the ticket and was found Not Responsible.

Westborough District Court

Client, a medical student, was stopped on the MassPike and was given a ticket for speeding. The State Trooper stopped the client for going 86 in a 65 and gave the client a $210 ticket. The state trooper used LIDAR and estimated the speed. The client appealed and was found not responsible by the clerk magistrate.

South Boston Court

Client was stopped in the Ted Williams Tunnel for going 69 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone. The Massachusetts State Trooper confirmed his speed with LIDAR and issued the client a $245 ticket. The client appealed his speeding ticket. He was found not responsible by the Assistant Clerk Magistrate.

Quincy District Court

Client, a young man with a few not responsible on his driver’s history, was stopped by a  Massachusetts State Trooper for driving 85 in a 60. Client was given a $255 ticket. Client appealed and was found not responsible by the Clerk-Magistrate.

Concord District Court

Client was stopped after police used radar to determine the client was speeding at 52 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone. The client was found not responsible by the Clerk-Magistrate.

Taunton District Court 

Client a junior operator got a Massachusetts Speeding Ticket on his way to school. Client was cited for going 45 in a 35. If he was found responsible he faced a license suspension, fines, and a repeat road test. Speeding Ticket Attorney Patrick Donovan argued that he should be found not responsible and the clerk magistrate agreed. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Brookline District Court

Client was facing a third surchargeable incident after he was stopped for driving 53 m.p.h. in a 35 m.p.h. zone. The Brookline officer used LIDAR to confirm his speed. After argument the Clerk-Magistrate found him NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Somerville District Court 

Client had a poor driver’s history including both criminal offenses and driving infractions. He was stopped for and given a Massachusetts speeding ticket for driving 48 in a 35. The Somerville Police officer used Lidar to confirm his speed. Client was concerned that his history would be held against him. Attorney Donovan argued his case and the clerk magistrate found him NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Framingham District Court

Speeding 84 in 65 m.p.h – Client was stopped and cited by a Massachusetts State Trooper on the MassPike for going almost 20 miles per hour over the speed limit. Trooper used LIDAR to confirm her speed. Appealed to a Clerk Magistrate and she was found NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Quincy District Court

Speeding – Client was given a Massachusetts speeding ticket for driving 92 on Rte. 93 in a 60 mph zone. Client requested an appeal on the ticket to the clerk magistrate. Attorney Donovan argued the driver should be found not responsible and the clerk agreed. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Quincy District Court

Failure to Use Care In Stopping – Client was cited for failure to use care in stopping after he rear-ended the car in front of him when he was getting on RT. 128. NOT RESPONSIBLE

Cambridge District Court

Failure to Stop

Client was stopped by the Cambridge Police when he completely blew a stop sign near a school. The client was unfamiliar with the area and claims he never saw the stop sign. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

South Boston District Court

Marked Lanes – Client was cited for weaving in and out of lanes without using his directional in the Ted Williams Tunnel (RT 90) near Logan Airport. NOT RESPONSIBLE

Framingham District Court

Speeding – Client got a Massachusetts speeding ticket for going 91 mph on the Massachusetts Turnpike (RT 90). The trooper used LIDAR and Estimated the speed. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Concord District Court

Speeding – Client was got a Massachusetts speeding ticket for 46 in a 30 mph zone. The police officer gave the ticket for 40 in a 30. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Brookline District Court

Speeding – Client was got a Massachusetts speeding ticket for going 45 in a 30. Client a resident of NY was cited while he was in Boston while he was here for medical care. Client was unable to come back to fight the ticket. Attorney Donovan appeared on behalf of the client and the client was found NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Brookline District Court

Speeding – Client got a Massachusetts speeding ticket for going 50 in a 30. Attorney Donovan convinced a clerk to find him NOT RESPONSIBLE

Woburn District Court

Speeding – Client was stopped for going 80 in 65. Driver was cited using LIDAR by a Massachusetts State Trooper. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Quincy District Court

Speeding – Client was stopped on a snowy night doing 84 in a 60. Client’s speed was confirmed by LIDAR. Attorney Donovan convinced the clerk to find him NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Quincy District Court

Unsafe Lane Change – Client abruptly crossed three lanes without using his blinker to get into the HOV lane. A Massachusetts State Trooper watched him the entire time. He was stopped and given a uniform citation. NOT RESPONSIBLE

Concord District Court

Speeding – Client was stopped by the Maynard Police Department after he was stopped for going 51 in a 35 late at night. Police confirmed his speeding using Radar. The client had a history of speeding tickets. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

South Boston District Court

Speeding – Client a lifelong taxi driver in Boston was stopped for going 53 in a 35 in the Ted Williams. The Massachusetts State Trooper used Lidar to confirm the speed. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Attleboro District Court

Speeding – Client was given a $505 ticket for going 90 in 65 on Rte. 95. Client had a history of speeding tickets. Client was found responsible at the Clerk’s hearing yet selected an appeal before a judge. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

South Boston District Court

Speeding – Client was stopped in the Ted Williams Tunnel for speeding and was given a ticket for speeding and a marked lanes violation. Attorney Donovan argued that the clerk should find him not responsible. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Framingham District Court

Speeding – Client was stopped by the Massachusetts State Police on the Massachusetts Turnpike (RT 90) for going 84 in a 65 mph. Client claimed the state trooper stopped the wrong driver. Client had a very good driver’s history. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Framingham District Court

Speeding – Client is charged with going 88 in a 65 on the Massachusetts Turnpike. Client is stopped after a Massachusetts State Trooper confirms her speed with LIDAR. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Chelsea District Court

Speeding – Client is cited for a marked lanes violation and for speeding (67 in a 45) after the officer driving behind him observed him passing other cars on the Tobin Bridge– NOT RESPONSIBLE ON BOTH COUNTS

Quincy District Court

Speeding – Client is charged with speeding after a Massachusetts State Trooper clocks him going 85 on RT 93 in Randolph. Trooper confirms his speed with LIDAR. NOT RESPONSIBLE.

Charlestown District Court

Speeding- Client was ticketed for going 61 mph in 30 mph zone. Trooper used Lidar to confirm the speed. Not Responsible.

Quincy District Court
