Because of sloppy hand writing, a would be bank robber may have written his own ticket to jail.According to the police in Antioch, California at the Wells Fargo Banking Center, Jamal Garrett, handed an almost illegible note to a teller. Because of the poor penmanship, the teller took it to her manager to make sense of it.
While the teller and the manage was trying to make sense of the note, the Garrett fled the bank. He figured that the writing was on the wall. The bankers then called the police.
Garrett was caught later in the day by police and arrested. This is not the first arrest for Garrett who has a history of arrests for theft crimes. Garett also has an outstanding warrant for parole violations.
