Anyone charged with a crime in Stoughton, Canton, Avon, or Sharon, Massachusetts the case will be heard at the Stoughton District Court. There is only one judge court. The court that handles both criminal and civil business. Jury trials are not conducted there. Jury trials are transferred to the Dedham District Court. The Court hears criminal cases Monday through Wednesday and again on Friday, Thursday is usually reserved for civil cases.
