Dorchester District Court

Boston Police were dispatched on a report of domestic violence. When they arrived, they found the alleged victim outside. The victim told the police officers she was 6 weeks pregnant. The shoulder strap of her shirt was ripped and hanging. She told police her boyfriend had strangled her. Also, she told police he threw her into a piece of bedroom furniture. He denied ever striking her. The client was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on a Pregnant Woman and Strangulation.

ALL CHARGES DISMISSED

Quincy District Court

Assault and Battery on a Household Member

Braintree Police were dispatched to a home for a reported domestic violence assault. Police learned the husband and wife had been arguing. The wife told them he had struck her in the face. Police interviewed both parties separately. The wife told police he hit her in the face. The husband admitted to striking her. The couple’s daughter was the one who called the police and backed up the story. The case was set for trial.

ALL CHARGES DISMISSED

Lowell District Court

Client’s 17-year-old son returned home after his curfew. The client’s son was intoxicated. The son claims the parties fought at home resulting in the son needing medical attention. At the hospital, the son reported the incident to the police. He told the police he was knocked to the ground by his father. The client admitted to the police that he restrained his son. He was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on a Family or Household Member.

ALL CHARGES DISMISSED

Westborough District Court

At around 10:30p p.m. Police responded to a report of domestic violence at a private home. When the police arrived they found the wife visibly upset. She told the police that her husband had hit her. She showed the police bruises and marks she had in different spots on her body. The client admitted to the police that the couple had been fighting.

ALL CHARGES DISMISSED

Quincy District Court

A and B on a Family or Household Member

Client called the police during a fight with her boyfriend. Police arrived and investigated. After separating the parties, the client stated she was hit by him. Police viewed a video of her assaulting her boyfriend. She then recanted to being hit. Because the police thought she was the “primary aggressor” she was arrested and charged. On the day of the trial, the District Attorney could not answer ready for trial.

CASE DISMISSED

Brighton Division of the Boston Municipal Court

Assault and Battery on a Family or Household Member

Client, a young college student, was celebrating PRIDE day with his partner when they began to fight. Client’s partner called police alleging that the client had hit him multiple times in the face. Client was arrested. Attorney Donovan placed the case on the trial list. The alleged victim failed to appear at the trial.

Brockton District Court 

Assault and Battery on a Family or Household Member

Client was arrested for Domestic Violence or Assault and Battery on a Family or Household member after his wife called police to report an assault.  The alleged victim told police that she was laying down in the bed when her husband came home and began arguing with her. She told police he dragged her out of the bed. Although she has no marks or bruising on her the client was arrested.

CASE DISMISSED

Lowell District Court

Assault and Battery on a Family or Household Member

Client had called the police for assistance in removing his intoxicated girlfriend. When police arrived they found the girlfriend sitting on the front steps crying and intoxicated. She told police that the couple got into a fight and he pushed her. She also told police that he had thrown her to the ground and hit her multiple times. It should be noted that the client is a large middle aged man. Even though the police did not see any injuries on the alleged victim the police arrested the client. The case was scheduled for trial before it was Dismissed upon a motion by Attorney Donovan.  

Quincy District Court 

Assault and Battery, Breaking and Entering and Kidnapping

Client was alleged to have broken into the apartment where his estranged wife was living. He was alleged to have waited hours inside the apartment to confront his estranged wife. When she arrived home he was alleged to have struck her and did not allow her to leave the room. The alleged victim then contacted her mother to notify the police. Client then left before the police arrived. Client was then charged in the Quincy District Court. Case was

CASE DISMISSED.

Somerville District Court

Aggravated Assault and Battery 

Client was alleged to have pushed his pregnant girlfriend during an argument. Girlfriend and baby were not hurt and there was no visible injuries. Client denied pushing her but was arrested. Attorney Donovan negotiated a short PreTrial Probation where the client will not have a criminal record.

Falmouth District Court 

Assault and Battery on a Household Member 

Client was arrested was arrested after police were called to a his house to find that he locked his mother out. Client shares a home with his mother. Police interviewed the mother and she told them she had spit on her. CASE DISMISSED

Quincy District Court 

Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order

Client, a foreign citizen, was charged with violating restraining order or 209a order that required he not abuse his wife. His wife called the police and told them he was not letting her in her bedroom and that he pushed her and tried to have unwanted sex with her. Case was tried before a judge and the judge found the client NOT GUILTY.

Roxbury District Court

Assault and Battery on a Family or Household Member

Client was arrested for assault and battery after police responded to a fight at the clients apartment. Client was alleged to have struck his roommate many times. Alleged victim went to emergency room. Case Dismissed

Quincy District Court

Assault and Battery 

Client was arrested for domestic violence after his sister stated the client had push and hit her. Police interviewed a witness who told police he saw the client do it. CASE DISMISSED

Quincy District Court

Aggravated Assault and Battery on Pregnant Victim

Client was charged with aggravated assault and battery after a domestic dispute with his pregnant girlfriend. The alleged victim was 5 months pregnant. Victim told the police he assault her. Client was arrested on the spot. Attorney Donovan brought the case to trial where it was dismissed. CASE DISMISSED.

Hingham District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery 

Client was arrested by the Massachusetts State Police and charged with domestic assault and battery. Numerous people called 911 and said they saw the client allegedly punching his sister who was driving him. The police noticed visible injuries to the victim. CASE DISMISSED

South Boston District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery

Client is charged with domestic assault and battery in the South Boston District Court after his girlfriend called the police. Police arrived and observed the client and victim to have been drinking. Victim stated that the client pulled her hair, threw her down and struck her. Client was arrested and a $500 Bail was set. Case went to trial and CASE DISMISSED.

Dedham District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is facing criminal charges in a domestic dispute. Alleged victim told police she hit and scratched him. Police took pictures of his injuries. Victim got a restraining order against the client. Police then applied for charges in the Dedham District Court and held a show cause hearing. No Probable Cause Found No Criminal Charges. Client avoids a criminal record. 

Stoughton District Court

Assault and Battery – Client is charged with domestic assault and battery in the Stoughton District Court after his girlfriend told police he hit her after a party. Girlfriend then got a restraining order against the client. Case Dismissed

Concord District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is charged with domestic assault and battery in the Client’s girlfriend told the police that she had struck her during an argument. CASE DISMISSED

Quincy District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is being charged with domestic violence after his alleged that he had hit her with his arm while the man was picking his infant son up. Braintree police sought a criminal complaint at the magistrate hearing in the Quincy District Court. Attorney Donovan successfully argued that the complaint should not issue.

Quincy District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is charged with both a misdemeanor and felony domestic violence charge in Quincy District Court after his girlfriend calls the police and tells them he assaulted her. When police arrived they found the victim in her nightgown about 100 yards away from the house. She was upset and told the police he told her he would kill her. Client was served with an emergency restraining order. CASE DISMISSED

Dorchester Court

Assault and Battery With A Dangerous Weapon – Client was charged a felony assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Client was alleged to has hit her then boyfriend while wearing a very large ring causing a bleeding and bruising. At the arraignment, the Case Was Diverted Meaning that the client was never arraigned and the charges will not appear on her record. CASE DISMISSED

Quincy District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is charged with both a misdemeanor and felony domestic violence charge in Quincy District Court after his girlfriend calls the police and tells them he assaulted her. Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is charged with domestic assault and battery in Stoughton District Court. Client is on probation when the victim claims he got physical and pushed her. She stated he yelled at her and was abusive. Client was arrested. Case Dismissed.

Lowell District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is charged with domestic assault and battery in Lowell District Court. Client was arrested after the police arrived observed his girlfriend was upset and she told the police he pushed her into a wall. Case Dismissed

Dedham District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is charged with Domestic Assault and Battery after his girlfriend called the police and told them that he had hit her.  Case Dismissed

Hingham District Court

Plymouth District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Police arrive to the scene of a domestic disturbance. The client is alleged to have pushed the victim and hit him. At the hearing on domestic assault and battery charges the case is dismissed. CASE DISMISSED

Lynn District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is accused of dragging the victim by the hair out of his house. Victim calls 911 and the police arrive to find the house in disarray and the client upset. Client admits to dragging the victim by the hair. NOT GUILTY After Trial 

Stoughton District Court

Assault and Battery – Client is charged with assault and battery after police respond to the client’s house where client had struck father causing injuries noticed by the police. CASE DISMISSED

Quincy District Court

Assault and Battery – Client is charged with domestic assault and battery after the victim called a federal agent and told her that she had been struck by the client. The victim told police that she had been hit and thrown to the ground by the client. CASE DISMISSED

Stoughton District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery – Client is charged with Assault and Battery and a Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order. Police respond to the scene where they are told the client pushed a friend into the snow and the friend had a restraining order against the client at the time. CASE DISMISSED

Lynn District Court

Domestic Assault and Battery  – Victim alleges that the client client stuck her in face 20 times, and threatened her with a hammer. Victim goes to the hospital. Client is held on bail as a result of the charge. CASE DISMISSED

Brighton District Court

Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon – Client is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery after police respond to a hotel in Brighton and learn that the client threatened the victim with a chair and pushed he to the ground. Client was found hiding in his car when police arrived. Case Dismissed
